CEPI Fundation
CEPI Foundation is a non-profit, and nongovernmental organization created in Maracaibo June 2006.
These foundation attends children and young adults with special needs. We take care of neurodevelopmental disorders, most of our patients are treated for disorders in the autism spectrum. At CEPI foundation we specialized in treating these disorders individually and in a multidisciplinary comprenhensive way in order to develop and maximize their skills, so we can achieve a more effective inclusion in society.
My experience with these project at the Foundation is:

Our beginnings
In February 2001, a beautiful boy “Marcos” was born. He came through a twin pregnancy obtained by in vitro fertilization. When Marcos was almost two years old, he began to present Neurodevelopmental alterations.
His mother (a friend, whose friendship started with the birth of him until today). She begins to go from one specialist to another looking for ways to treat or help her child with all these Neurodevelopmental troubles.
She took him to all kind of specialists: Psychologists, Speech Therapist, Ocupational Therapist, Behavior therapist, etc, etc.
As have happen to many other families in these situation, these caused fatigue and frustration, not being able to get answers about the best alternative and treatment for her child.
One day in the living room of her house. Marco’s mother said to me: Betty is time to create and specialized care center for these children. A center where all the specialists can be found. A place where families do not have to go from one place to another.
A center were we can offer: individualized and specialized therapies to these children looking for the improvement of their quality of life to help them to integrate to the society.
Our team
These is how CEPI FOUNDATION was born. We are continue to look for the excellence in all the services we offer to help these families and their children.
At the Foundation we can find special educative toys, different kind of tools, colors, tables, etc, etc. What is more important a nice, gentle and certified human personnel
(Psychologists, Speech Therapist, Behavioral and Occupational Therapist. A whole team waiting to do the intervention of children as early as possible.
Services
Our specialists are always happy to provide all their knowledge and affection to your child in the services he needs. We have psychological and psychopedagogical evaluations, language therapies, communication therapies, and a comprehensive morning classroom. Come and discover them!
Events
We organize various family and cultural events to raise funds for our foundation. Events full of charisma and solidarity in which friends and family come together year after year in favor of this beautiful work.
